2019 CLTA-NC Annual Conference (August 24, 2019)
The 2019 CLTA-NC Annual Conference will be hosted at FedEx Global Education Center on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus on Saturday, August 24th. Our theme this year is Building a K-16 Pipeline in Chinese Teaching of North Carolina. We welcome any Chinese teacher and educator to attend this half-day conference and join our association. This conference is co-organized by the Department of Asian Studies and Carolina Asia Center at UNC-Chapel Hill. Up to 6 CEU contact hours will be offered for the attendees.
All attendees (including presenters) must register on 8/24. Check or cash is preferred. Venmo or Paypal are also acceptable. Registered presenters/attendees will automatically become CLTA-NC members for one-year. Click here for the full agenda.
2019 FLANC Fall Conference
As an allied organization, CLTA-NC members will present Chinese teaching mythologies and innovated instructional resources at the Foreign Language Association of North Carolina fall conference. The conference will be hosted in Winston-Salem on October 25 – 26, 2019. We will also have a business meeting with our members. Please stay tuned for more details!
